There are two types of jobs after dying chemical engineering one is in the public sector and other is in the private sector.

public sector you can go for companies like Indian oil corporation limited, oil and natural gas corporation  ,Hindustan petroleum. Private industries you can go for Reliance industries National fertilizers and other. Meaning of the above companies visit IIT for placement and you can appear for placement and security job in this companies.

The package for public sector companies is close to 15 lacs per annum. For private companies it varies from 10 lacs per annum to 30 lacs per annum.

The other mode to enter is by appearing in GATE exam if you secure good rank then you can get a job in public sector companies
