So the statistics are as follows:

  1. NIT Calicut

Chemical Engineering has an average package of 7.9 LPA and 81.82% of students were placed. You can read peer reviews about NIT Calicut at THIS PAGE .


  1. IIITDM

According to placement stats, things don’t look too well here even in popular branch such as ECE. According to annual report of 2019, given on IIITDM Website, only 17 students were placed, highest package being 6 LPA. You can also read the peer reviews at THIS PAGE .

Naveenv495 Hi, remember the decision is in your hands. As advisory, i would choose you to go for NIT Calicut because NIT Calicut has a better reputations and statistics as compared to IIITDMK, Campus life and overall environment are a considerable factor as well. Best of Luck
