Hello

B. Sc Chemistry is more related to pure science While, B. Tech in Chemical Engineering is more of an applied science where you learn  the process conceptualized by a chemist to fit to the real world scenario

Chemical engineering graduates will develop:

  • Advanced math, science, chemistry and IT skills
  • Organisational skills
  • Project management and leadership abilities
  • Clear understanding of the commercial application of science
  • Understanding of engineering principles combined with mathematics

If you are interested in studying pure chemistry , then go for BSc , as chemical engineering has very little to do with chemistry.

Else
Chemical engineering is better than BSc in chemistry.

I hope this helps

B.Sc Chemistry is much more pure chemistry based, while in b.tech chemical engineering is a professional course where students have to deal with chemical properties of elements, and how to use in real world scenario.
Chemistsare more likely to develop novel materials and processes, whilechemical engineersare more likely to take these materials and processes and make them larger or more efficient.
Both the fields are good in their own way. Choose according to your interest.
