Basically the syllabus for entrance examination for BA Journalism includes four sections:
English - It covers reading comprehension, error correction, spelling errors, fill in the blanks, antonym/synonym, idiom and phrases, one word substitution and omission.
General Awareness - It includes topics related to History, geography, polity, general science, current affairs, five year plans.
Reasoning and Mental Ability - It comprises of Analogies, Alpabest Test, Ven diagram, blook relation, non-verbal series, puzzle, letter and symbol series.
Media aptitude - It includes questions related to social issues.

The test includes Current Affairs of the past 1year which is GK, Basic grammar and comprehensions questions- English, Static- General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning based on patterns,Numbers,syllogism etc and basic Psychology questions of class 12th level. Please revise your basics and you'll do good.
