Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, was established in the year of 1918 with the purpose to train dedicated persons to run, manage and provide health care in the spirit of Christ through the mission hospitals. The college is permanently affiliated to The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai. It offers various UG, PG, and diploma courses focusing on the areas of Medicine, Surgery, and Nursing. CMC Vellore Admission 2019 is done through the entrance examination followed by Interview round. The college also accepts the NEET score for admission to the M.B.B.S. program.

It offers graduate and postgraduate degrees, diploma and super specialty courses. In addition to UG and PG courses, the university also offers doctoral programs in both full-time and part-time mode. NTRUHS Admissions are granted on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination or the marks in the entrance exams such as NEET and AP EAMCET.

NTRUHS Admission -

Admission to the undergraduate programs is done on the basis of the marks secured by the students in their qualifying examination. For courses such as BAMS, BHMS, the university enrolls the student on the basis of their performance in AP EAMCET, however, a separate entrance examination is conducted for BUMS.


For MBBS and BDS, it is compulsory for the student to have a valid rank in NEET and the selection is based on the choice made by the students in the counseling process.


The university conducts Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test (PGMET) for the admissions to MD, MS, MDS courses. For M.Sc. in Nursing, it is compulsory for the candidates to secure a minimum of 45 marks in the entrance examination (35 marks for SC/ST).
