Hello
Both civil and electrical engineering branches are good.civil engineering students has more job opportunities but electrical engineering students has highest salary package than civil.civil engineering major requirement comes from the need to design and build infrastructure and buildings cater.Electrical students learns about the transmission lines, machines etc..Every branch has its own scope.Based upon your interest you can choose.so in my point of view, electrical engineering is better.Hope this information helps you
All the best.
Hello dear student
Civil engineer and electrical engineer are problem-solving professionals who create designs depending on the technical specifications of a given project.
Civil engineers work on construction of bridges, roads, buildings and tunnels.
Electrical engineers work on anything that generates electricity or requires an electrical power supply.
When comparing electrical engineer versus civil engineer job prospects, electrical engineers enjoy a slightly higher wages, but civil engineers have more opportunities.
The major requirement for civil engineers comes from the need to design and build infrastructure and buildings to cater to the growing population.
But it will better for you 1st of decides what you like to do means electrical engineering more technical than civils.
hope that's helpful
best of luck
Hello there,
CIVIL ENGINEERING:
Civil engineers plan and design projects that physically support human activities, from housing and transportation to renewable energy. Therefore, civil engineers often develop reports for public approval and may work for a city or governmental agency.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING:
Electrical engineers plan and design projects that involve the flow of electricity through circuits and power supplies. Their work may involve the design of a power-generating plant, a navigation system for airplanes, or a hybrid engine for automobiles.
When comparing electrical engineer versus civil engineer job prospects, electrical engineers enjoy a slightly higher wages, but civil engineers have more. If we compare the average wages paid by the employer to electrical engineers are bit higher than that of civil engineers.
Of the jobs in civil engineering, 50 percent of them are architectural, engineering, and related services work, 25 percent in the government, and the rest in the construction sector. Electrical engineering jobs, though having lower growth prospects are wider in scope.
Comparing electrical engineering versus civil engineering job prospects, civil engineering seems to hold more prospects compared to electrical engineering. The demand for civil engineers, however, remains directly linked to the state of the economy. A booming economy usually manifests itself in construction activities whereas construction activities receive a major setback during times of recession. Civil engineering jobs are also region specific.
I hope you find it useful.
Hey aspirant,
Both the branches are totally different from each other.
Which one is the best for you depends on your interests. If you are more into construction engineering you should go for civil engineering. However, if you have interests in Circuits and Electrical connections then you must opt for Electrical Engineering.
Both are core Engineering branches so don't expect much Placements from private colleges. But if you are good in your branch you can excel anyway. The future scope of both these branches is vast.
Hope this helps,
All the best!
