Hello,
Civil Engineering at DTU is considered to be a decent branch because of the following reasons: 1. Easy syllabus- you can easily score a very good percentage which would eventually help you to get an admission in the IIM'S and would give you an edge in non-core companies over students associated with other branches. 2. Brilliant Government Jobs- You can appear for the IES/GATE examination and end up being a part of the best jobs in the country . 3. Civil Engineers also have a decent placement record and I believe anyone with a good percentage and decent communication skills can expect a package between 5-7 lakhs. 4. MS from Stanford- Civil and environmental engineers can do an MS in environmental engineering from Stanford because there is a very less competition in it compared to computer science.
Overall doing civil engineering from dtu according to me is a very good option as it enhances oppurtunities and explores it wide. You get in contact with a number of renowned people who can help you through.
Hope this helps you out.
Good luck!
