Civil Engineering is a good career choice and has become a popular one among various other career options. It deals with deagn, construction and maintainance of the infrastructure like roads,buildings,canals,dams etc which is quite interesting as a career option.

Well,it has good scope in future too since a lot of jobs are created in this domain.

The average pay for a civil engineer ranges between 3-4 Lakhs per annum,which always has a scope for increment.

Civil Site Engineer ;

Design Engineer ;

Planning Engineer;

Structural Engineer ;

Industrial Production Engineer ;

As you can see, there's a huge attraction of software engineering among students these days. That's because we can see how the world's changing and how technology will be boosting day by day.



But what do software engineers do? Create softwares to make people's lives easier. These softwares and in general technology is going to be everywhere in future.



And the infrastructure we have today is not ready for it. A software engineer cannot deploy them, it's the job of the civil engineers to think of solutions, plan and execute to get infrastructure in pace with the technology. So there's a huge turning point that'll come in the near future where civil engineers are going to be in great demand.



Another big and rather the most important thing is environment! Man has made terrible mistakes till now and destroyed natural resources. We need solutions for this. We need to find out a way to develop our cities without causing harm to the environment. Research in better construction material, eco friendly town planning, no-water construction has HUGE scope in the market. It's actually the need of the hour.
