Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that if you are looking to appear for civil services exam right after your graduation. Then you should opt for BA LLB because LLB cannot be pursued directly after 12th standard. You need to have bachelors degree if you want to gain a degree in Law.

However there is no compulsion to pursue law degree only if you are looking for civil services exam. The eligibility criteria to pursue UPSC exam is that a candidate must hold a bachelors degree from a recognized university.
