It will be better to do graduation in BA instead of Bsc because it will help in preparing the exam from the very beginning (from first year).You could develop you knowledge of history, geography, economic and polscience etc ,which are the mandatory subjects I. Preparing the exam.

You can go for either og them depending on what interest you most. Students generally seen having background as BA Economics and Bsc Mathematics for UPsC examination. Both have strong domain knowledge to ckear UPsC exams and are recommended.
