  • Section B has Letter Writing, Note making and summarising,  composition, essay for 20 marks
  • Section C has Grammar consisting of  for 20 marks, Use of non-finite, Sentence connectives including just until, as, then, since, just because, while, Clauses with what, where and how ,Past Tense Modals such as can, could, may, must, might, Translation from Hindi to English,
  • Section D has extracts and questions from prose and poetry for 45 marks.

English(Special);

  • Section A has Reading Skills for reading unseen passages, there will be three passages such as factual/discursive/literary passage for 30 mark
  • Section B has Writing Skills consisting of notice, message, telegram, advertisement, letter, story writing for 30 marks
  • Section C has Grammar consisting of tenses, pronouns, prepositions, determiners, sentence structure for 15 marks,
  • Section D has prescribed text book, two extracts from different poems, One or two questions based on one of the drama texts, two question based on one of the prose texts for 25 marks.
