hello aspirant,

after completion of your 12th pcb, you have a choice of 2 streams most probably i.e. is you can choose either degree i.e.b.sc computer science and b.tech i.e.computer engineering .

you can go for any two of the above options and if you want to become an software engineer you should have a knowledge of programming and coding.

you go through any one of the stream either degree stream or b.tech stream ,after completion of graduation ,depending up on your coding and programming skills you will be getting a job in IT companies posting as a software engineer.

becoming a software engineer requires a good skills in his graduation level and now a days companies are hiring only through his coding skills, so one should be learning atleast one programming language like C, C++,JAVA,PYTHON etc..

if you are really expert or an advanced or intermediate learner in any of those programming courses sure you will be playing with the coding and sure higher pacakges will be given to an individual who is expert in any those of it.
