Hi

jee advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-

-) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST in 12th board or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off.

-) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2021 or 2020 .

-) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be  born on or after October 1, 1991.

-) you must qualify JEE main 2021 to be eligible for jee advanced 2021

Hello candidate,

You might be interested to know that because of the covid-19 pandemic and the irregular mode adopted for conducting Board examinations for class 12th standard, the national testing agency has decided that it will no longer allow a mandatory 75% marks for general category students and a mandatory 65% marks for Schedule Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and PWD categories to appear for the JEE advanced examination.
