Hello,

CLAT is conducted for admission of integrated law courses such as BA-LLB. BCom-LLB, BBA-LLB etc, its eligibility criteria is passed 10+2 from a recognized board in any stream securing 45% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, now coming to your question there is no such restrictions of belonging to specific stream in order to appear for CLAT, however if you're aiming for BA-LLB then having humanities at 10+2 level will be more aligned with your course of higher studies, and if you're aiming for BCom-LLB /BBA-LLB then having commerce at 10+2 level would be more aligned with higher studies. the core difference in the integrated law courses is the amalgamation of law with the specific discipline such as arts in BALLB, commerce in BCom-LLB, management studies in BBA-LLB etc, other than this if you're more inclined to work in corporate sector then in terms of curriculum BCom-LLB, BBA-LLB is more suited, other than this the job opportunities remain same for every law graduates.
