The college is established in 1988. It is one of the renowned college of Coimbatore. It offers plenty of courses in different streams such as arts, science, commerce, BA,MA,MBA,BBA,BCA. The college offers  17 undergraduate courses, 14 postgraduate courses.The college is accredited by NAAC. College Library has more than 63000 books and over 204 books. The college laboratories are equipped with modern instruments. It provides serene atmosphere for e learning.

The college has 10 seperate hostels (5 for men, 3 for women and 2 international students). It has gym, indoor and outdoor games facilities.
