You can participate in the NDA exam and if you once qualify the exam you will be called for the ssb where the officials check your personality , skills , your communication , behavior, your problem solving skills etc and after that you have to go through medical test.

But the only disadvantage is that you can opt only army, you will be not allowed to choose navy, and air force.
