Hello Jeena,

The literature during the reign of the Pallavas is regarded as religious as well as secular. They were patrons of Sanskrit and Tamil. King Mahendrawarman wrote the "Mathhavilasa prakasanam" and "Bhagwatha Ajjikiyam", hence, experiencing growth of Sanskrit language and literature. The capital city during their reign, Kanchi was the renowned learning center for Sanskrit. Kavyadharsha, a tamil book was written by Dhandind.

The pallavas, being great patrons of Tamil language too, encourages the Tamil literature. "Kalladam", a grammar book was composed by Kalladanar. There were many other notable works too.

Thankyou
