It's good but can't be compared with nirf ranking 16 college. You can expect 75-80 placement here .

Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore and Barton Hill Engineering College, Thiruvananthapuram are both very renowned and good colleges. But as per your query VIT, Vellore does have a very good department of electronics and communication according to me. The campusing, hostel facility and overall everything is good in there.
