NIRF 2017 ranking by Indian Government -

NIT Rourkela 12th in country

NIT Allahabad ranks 41.

,If CSE,IT,ECE,Mech. then 100% join NIT,Rourkela.

Nit Rourkela is far better than Nit Allahbad which u can see itself in the mhrd nirf ranking. The peaceful environment, the wonderful greenery and infrastructure and the eye catching placement.

Both of NITs is comes under the top ranking of different nits.But here some of comparison point of view-

NIT Rourkela--Campus of this college is somewhat comparable to different IIT and all the three branches have good faculties and infrastructure .But placement is overall average due to its location .

NIT Allahabad--Campus is not much large and faculties are little above average.Labs are fully equipped and here is very good competitive environment in field of coding which helps you to grab good position in top companies .Placement is more better than Rourkela.
