The choice should be based upon your interest as both are entirely different fields.

Computer science is based upon topics that relates to computation, like analysis of algorithms, programming languages, program design, software, and computer hardware whereas Civil engineering is the professional practice of designing and developing infrastructure projects.

Jo b prospects is really good for both computer science and civil engineering. When it comes tto college placements I feel CSE has an advantage there, but still this also varies from college to college.

SO the choice should be made upon your interest.

Computer engineering and civil engineering both are the equally important fields for engineers as well as modern society. But in that case civil engineering is fully developed field but the computer engineering field day by day updated.

So in the basis of Mahatma Gandhi Mission Jawharlal Nehru Engineering College,  Aurangabad civil engineering and computer engineering both the streams are very good. This renowned college provide the better campussing or placement towards the students. Now it is actually depends on one's personal interest. If the student is efficient in his or her field then all stream are good.
