Both are goods In case of my opinion you are willing to work or like the  programming so computer science is a better choice for you. Or you are a creative person or like to develop electronics products so Electronics and Communication Engineering is a better choice for you.

if you studied computer science you can get job in IT consultant, Cyber consultant, Information system manager, Database administrator, System analysts, Game developer etc. and if you studied in Electronics and communication you can get jobs like Electronics engineer, Electronics design & development engineer, system control engineer etc.

If you ask me personally what i choose, I choose Computer science because after completing the course the job opportunity is much more higher than communication engineering and may be computer science future risk is lower than ECE. but both are good there is no need to do what I  have said. Definitely you follow your own likes, passion. I think you have got your answer.

Best of luck for your upcoming future.

Dear Aspirants ,

Yes off course Computer science and Communication both are good branches in engineering aspects but you have to decided as per your skills set like if you are good in coding, algorithm, data structure then obviously you go through Computer science if you are good in communication engineering like digital ,electronics then you go through communication but as per your query if we go through placements scenario in KIIT and Manipal University then Computer Science is holding top most placements records rather then communication but teaching quality in both areas are equals .

So if you wants to give more priority in placements then go through computer science .

Hope it will helpful

thanks

DUGGARAJU ABHINAY If you are talking about bachelor of technology in computer and communication engineering then it's is mixture of software development and electronics communication and computing .It covers networking, cloud computing ,computer science. So it's a better combination for engineering student and you will get job easily if you had knowledge in both courses but in KIT and manipal University cs branches having more weightage but it's really good course .
You must go through this course and it's future demands is high .
