You have nor mentioned any particular examination that you are asking for which the CS cutoffs are. However, be it any entrance exam, for securing admission in CS in the top colleges, you must aim for scoring a percentile above 99+ . This will ensure that you have a good rank and will get the best college possible in this field.

Its totally depends upon the college where you want to take admission.

If you are thinking to take admission in IIT, NIT or IIIT then you need to clear JEE mains (NIT and IIIT) and advance (IIT) then you need really good marks in your jee. You need more than 99 percentile for colleges like NIT and IIIT and for IIT you need to come under the rank of 5K for the safe side for the computer science branch.

And if you want to take admission in any good government college then you need to score more than 95 percentile for the safe side for the computer science branch.

And if you are looking for any private college then there are lots of ways you can take computer science branch even without giving JEE like good marks in 12th or by giving donations etc.
