Confirmed date of SLAT exam?? how to prepare for it and what is the pattern..

SLAT 2020 will be conducted in online mode for a duration of two hours, the number of questions have been reduced to 90 MCQs, there's no negative marking scheme and there are following sections with each sections carrying 18 questions for 18 marks;
- General Knowledge
- Analytical Reasoning
- Reading Compehension
- Legal Resoning
- Logical Reasoning
For GK,you can refer to newspaper for dynamic portion or any standard book such as Lucent's GK for static part, in case you're not able to, no need to be bothere there're plenty of sites in internet which provides static GK for preparation, you can refer that such as GKToday.
For Analytical Reasoning, refer any standard mathematics such as NCERT's book or RK Agarwal's Quantitative Aptitude to build the base, it involves concepts such as elementary maths, algebra, average, percentage etc.
For Legal Reasoning, it includes topics such as legal terms, Indian Constitution and its history, intellectual property rights, important acts and events, current events of importance as per law etc. You can refer Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning by AP Bhardwaj for this.
For Logical Reasoning, it covers topics such as puzzle, syllogism,blood relation etc. You can refer Analytical Reasoning by MK Pandey.
For Reading Comprehension, you can use Wren and Martin book for grammar, Norman Lewis's Word Power Made Easy for vocabulary section, also go through editorials part of The Hindu or Indian Express in order to have a good grasp over comprehension.
You can use the Internet extensively for learning any concepts, all the topics included can be easily find in the sites of compeitive exams, there're plenty of free sample paper/mock paper, you can use that to up your preparation level.
As per the status of official website, SLAT 2020 date remains to be 19th July as of now, and there has been no such announcement regarding postponing of exam if this is what you're enquiring about, so stay updated at the official website at https://www.set-test.org/for more details regarding this.

SLAT 2020 was set to be held on 31st May. However, due to the pandemic, it was postponed. As of now, it's set to be held on 19th July, 2020 . The admit card will be out by 7th July, 2020.
The test itself consists of 90 marks. It is conducted online and spans over 2 hours. Each question carries 1 mark for a total of 90 questions. There is no negative marking scheme.
The subjects to study include:-

- Analytical reasoning
- Reading Comprehension
- Legal Reasoning
- logical Reasoning
Each subject carries 18 marks.
