Space researchers are of two different kinds: physicists and Astronauts. Or Astronomers and Astronauts. Astronomers study the motion and material on the ground level itself, that is, they determine all of their results by theoretical calculations. Astronauts are the ones who actually go into space, outside the Earth and do their research. The number of Astronauts over Astronomers is ofcourse, pretty less.

There are a number of life changing experiences that come along with choosing this profession. These are:

1. If you're aiming to become an ASTRONAUT, there's no guarantee of safety. Because one can never be so sure.

2. It will be expensive.

3. It will give you a key to contribute your bit to the world, for space is very vast and you can always find something new and intetesting.

All the best!
