Botany, a part of biology deals with the study of plants, their structure and biochemical processes. It is advisable for you to do BSc in Botany, a 3-year course offered by almost all universities across India. The minimum eligibility criterion for BSc Botany is clearing 12th in PCB stream. One can work in the area of chemical industry, food companies, forest services, biotechnology firms, oil industry etc. as a plant explorer, conservationist, ecologist, environment consultant, horticulturist, plant biochemist, etc.
