Could you please tell me maths and chemistry weightage?
Hello Aspirant ,
From your profile I can see that you are an engineering aspirant so I will be answering according to JEE exam .
In JEE Mains the weightage of all 3 subjects (physics , chemistry and math) are same that is 100 marks each section with 25 questions carrying +4 marks so the total weightage of maths and chemistry is 200 marks (50 question).
JEE Advanced do not have a definite patterns but the weightage of every subject is almost same (around 33 % weightage each).
Hope this helps.
Dear Student ,
Your query is entirely depended on your choice of Entrance exam /Competitive exam / Board exam . There are different strategies for each exam .For an example,
If you want to appear for JEE MAIN/ NEET etc. Entrance exam , then you have to give equal importance in PCM subjects .. specially in Maths as the concepts are needed to be clear and as it is time consuming at exam hall.. so if the concept is cleared and formula is remembered then your time management skills will be developed .
In case of board exam , you need to study more in depth .. as in board exam , you need to explain or prove the concepts as per the question .
