This B.Sc. Neuroscience degree at Amity University is an endeavor to give students a rich factual knowledge of the brain and the nervous system. The course continues for three years, with each year making fundamental concepts with proper skills based on the previous year.
Year 1: Foundation

- Project Work: Introduction to independent research projects in the form of literature review and hypothesis formation
Year 3: Advanced Studies and Specialization
- Core Courses: Neuropharmacology, Neurodevelopment, Clinical Neuroscience, and Neurodegenerative Disorders.
- Electives: Opportunities to delve deeper in the subjects that could be computational neuroscience, neuroinformatics, or neuroethics and many other topics
- Laboratory Work: Advanced experimental techniques and involvement with research projects that are ongoing.
- Dissertation: An independent research effort that will lead to a written thesis as well as an oral defense.
Students are, therefore, encouraged to take internships or otherwise collaborate with others so that they can gain practical experience in the course. The program curriculum focuses on the basis of putting theory and skills into practice by promoting graduates' ability to engage either in research, health care, or pursue further academic work in neuroscience.
