  • Bachelor in Technology/Engineering - 4 years (Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics and Tele-Communication, Electrical, Civil, Information Technology)
  • Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) - 3 years
  • NDA to join National Defense Services - Indian Navy Officer, Indian Air Force
  • Bachelor of Architecture ( B.Arch.) - 5 years
  • Merchant Navy
    B.Sc. Nautical Science - 3 years
    B.E. (Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering, Harbour and Ocean Engineering) - 4 years
  • Railway Apprentice Exam (Training of 4 years after selection. Further, candidates take up leadership positions in the Indian Railways as Class 1 officers)
  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) - 5.5 years
  • BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) - 4 years
  • B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science)

There are various options in the field of science, but broadly there are two streams at 10+2 level if we specifically talk about science, one is PCM and another is PCB, so as per the subject combinations you can choose the courses as mentioned below;

With PCM group at 10+2 level, if you're interested in a career in technical field then you can go for engineering/architecture/railway apprentice exam/AME training/CPL Training/BCA or you can appear for IMUCET/Indian Army TES/Indian Navy BTech Entry Scheme/Indian Navy Sailors Recruitment/National Defence Academy/Naval Academy Examination to have a career in the domain of marine/defence/navy, you can appear for ISI Admission Test for BSc Statistics/Maths

With PCB group at 10+2 you can appear for NEET which is conducted to admission to MBBS. BDS . Ayush Courses, BVSc & AH, in some cases NEET scores is also accepted for BSc Nursing, BPT, BPharm. You can go for operational therapy, radiology, BASLP, Bachelor of Optometry.

You can also appear for ICAR AIEEA UG to pursue BSc Agriculture, or BSc in fields like biotechnology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, microbiology etc, other than this you can also consider appearing for NEST for pursuing five years integrated MSc course at NISER/UM DAE CABS or BS-MS Dual Degree from IISER or four years BS degree program in IISC Bangalore, these are some of the best options if you want to have a career in the field of research or academia, you can appear for CSIR NET, qualify the same, and become lecturer, you can also appear for SET conducted at state level to become assistant professor, in case you want to teach in school you can pursue BSc-BEd for which the best option is RIEs with its campuses in bhubaneshwar, bhopal, ajmer, mysore, shillong for which admission is done through CEE conducted by NCERT
