Creer in defence after Bsc chemistry
Hello,
There are 2 ways to join in Defence after completion of degree in B.Sc Chemistry or while studying in the final year of that degree
- Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE): The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must be in the final year of the graduation in any discipline or must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized board.

- AFCAT: The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed 3 year bachelor's degree in any discipline or 4 year B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board. And the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics with minimum 50% marks in each subject.

You need to appear for CDS and/or AFCAT and qualify in it. Candidates qualifying in the entrance exam will be called for SSB interview followed by Medical test. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks scored in entrance test, SSB interview.

After completion of BSC in Chemistry, if you wish to join Defence, then you can appear for following exams:
- Combined defense service exam- CDS and
- Air force common admission test- AFCAT
