CSE is definitely better from jobs point of view, take any college ,only CSE students gets the best packages, and they the best percentage of placements too.

where as CE is a core branch , core companies of CIVIL ENGINEERING  rarely visit any collegr, other than state government colleges, or NIT IITs.

civil engineering has the best scope in GOVT jobs.  since maximum number of government jobs are for CIVIL ENGINEERS.
