CUCET stands fir Central University Common Entrance Test. It is an All India Entrance Test cinducted by ten cental universities and gives the advantage of applying into the UG, PG and Ph.D courses offered in the instituitions .
Central University of Rajasthan, which is the coordinating university for the exam invites applications from aspiring students each year.
The CUCET exam offers both B.A. L.L.B ( undergraduate course ) and LLM ( post graduation course).
For Integrated Integrated BA LLB (Hons)/ Integrated M.Sc./ B.Voc/ Diploma Courses:
There will be only one test paper for these courses. The syllabus will be constututed of English, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude, General Knowledge subjects/topics.
For L.L.M (Master of Law) Course:
General Principles of Contracts, Constitution, Law of Torts, Family Law-Hindu Law, Criminal Law-Indian Penal Law, Contract-II, Company Law, Property Law, Administrative Law, Family Law-II: Mohammedan Law and Indian Succession Act, Environmental Law, Labour Law, Criminal Law-II, Jurisprudence, Public International Law, Human Rights Law and Practice, Right to Information, Banking Law, Insurance Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems, Civil Procedure Code and Limitation Act, Intellectual Property Rights-I, Penology & Victimology, Law relating to International Trade, Women and Criminal law & Law Relating to Child, White Collar Crimes (Privileged Class Deviance), intellectual Property Rights-II, Taxation, Law of Evidence, Competition Law and Interpretation of Statutes & Principles of Legislation.
Duration: Each paper will be of about 2 hours.
Mode of Exam: The exam will be held through offline mode.
Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam.
Number of Questions: 100 questions will be asked in the exam.
Negative Marking: There is a provision of negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect response.
Parts: Part-A will contain the English Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills of 25 MCQs. Part-B contains Domain Knowledge which will be comprised of 75 MCQs. This part may consist of one/two/three sections of 25 questions each.
