currently i am pursuing bcom hons graduation , so can i apply for LLB( hons ) as per the new guidelines of the government

YES, you can do LLB after B.Com as L.L.B is a post graduation course and the eligibility criterion to do L.L.B is graduation. Hence B.COM is the graduation. The duration will be of 3 yrs. The eligibility criteria for LLB course is that one should have B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com degree with minimum 40% marks in aggregate for general category and 35% in aggregate for SC/ST students. But you have to pass the Entrance exam and personal Interview. Although L.L.B is a dynamic course in terms of career opportunities. You can be legal account and finance practitioner with combo of b.com and L.L.B. as a legal practitioner you can enrich more career opportunities. As a legal advisor can join corporate world. L.L.B is the professional course which goes for a profession of Lawyer ship. You can be appeared in CLAT Exam and may opt a reputed institute.

After the liberalization of India’s economy there is a huge demand for highly skilled lawyers who are adept in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, infrastructure contracts, debt restructuring, FEMA regulations, IPRs, corporate governance, private equity deals, WTO law etc. Law firms, both international as well as domestic, regularly recruit such lawyers in large numbers.
