MBBS is considered as the most prestigious career option and degree in India and is almost dream of thousand of students to become a doctor every year.
Mbbs in India is regulated by the MCI board of governors. every year 15 to16 lacs of students appear in the NEET ug exam conducted by nta while only 70 to 80 thousands get selected in government and private medical colleges in India.
And those who don't get mbbs seat in India thinks of doing mbbs from abroad.and due to the increase in no.of students going abroad to study mbbs abroad in recent years. it is now compulsory for every students to appear and qualify the Neet-ug exam to take admission in mbbs abroad.
Students returning after completing their mbbs from abroad have to appear in the FMGE OR SCREENING TEST and they must pass the exam to practice in India.
FMGE OR SCREENING TEST now will be replaced by National exit test according to new national medical council. However National exit test will be for all including Indian medical graduates and also for foreign medical graduates.
