Hey Aditya,
Since you are preparing for JEE Mains,so i recommend you to boost up your preparation for MAINS now and instead of covering all chapters try to revise the chapters that you have read and few more important chapters from JEE MAINS point of view and get a proper command on those chapters.
See you have nearly 40-50 days left after JEE Mains for your ADVANCED preparation. So,You should not lose hope and continue your preparation for JEE Advanced as well as BITSAT.
for now,ALL THE BEST for your JEE MAINS!!
Thanks
The focus should be on concepts first and then problem-solving. Initially, your focus should be on JEE main and a little bit on advanced. If advanced level problems seem alright give equal focus.
During February and March focus totally on JEE main because after that you will have to prepare for boards.
After boards again on main. After jee main is over focus on advanced.
Some of the exams which you should appear beside JEE is:-
BITSAT
WBJEE
VITEEE
IPU
BCECE
SHIV NADAR UNIVERSITY
All the very best and good luck.
hey,
You should prepare jee mains, give your best because you can't expect better colleges than NIts or IITS. you can still give bitsat, but you need not to prepare differently. Syllabus is nor or less the same. give your best too jee mains( do previous year question paper and analyse yourself). 150 or more in jee mains are good marks. further you can give Bitsat and you'll be confident as bitsat in much on formulas and not on deep understanding of concepts(do the same, attempt question paper and analyse). For jee advance, give the exam it will help, you won't lose anything,
good luck
You should devote your time at preparation of jee mains but at the same time if your exam goes bad then you should've other options left with you for admission in colleges. So you must apply for entrance exams like VITEEE,SRMJEEE,BITSAT,COMEDK,IPUCET,UPSEE,WBJEE ..and many more. This will help you at later stage if you have not much option available for admissions.
And also try to prepare for jee advanced as nothing is impossible.Practice as much as you can.
Good luck.
Respected sir,
while you are in your 12th standard, you can apply for JEE Main Exam. You are given three attempts including this for clearing this exam. You need to get decent rank for getting NITs.
I have talked a lot about exam information. Now I would like to recommend you some tips to score more. These three words, you should keep in minds while you are preparing : Revision, Revision , Revision. If you join a coaching then good, prepare from their materials and If you don’t then no problem solve you NCERT books as much you can.Focus more on chemistry because It will lead you more marks in less input. Attempts previous 15 years papers.
And last but not the least. Do your counselling very carefully even if your rank is not good enough. You should wait for all rounds and doesn’t choose college with any conjecture. It is possible you can get lower NIT with good rank and vice versa. So be careful at that time also. So best of luck.
Hello Aditya,
There are plenty options you can work with, Actually there are
20 = Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT)
31 = National Institute of Technology (NIT)
19 = Government Funded Technical Institute (GFTI)
You can join all these if you manage to get yourself good marks
You can join Top 5 universities with JEE MAIN score counselling :-
Shiv Nadar University
Thapar University
SASTRA University
PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore
Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology
If you feel that engineering is not really your call then you can always opt out for other options too. If your main goal is to get admissions into IITs, then Bachelor of Science (B.S) is a good alternative option. After completing your B.S. course with good qualifying marks, you will be able to apply for admissions into IITs after clearing Joint Admission Test for M.Sc (JAM) examination.
