Hi,
If you want to give the SSC CGL direct after your graduation or in the last year, you wish to fill the application form, then you can prepare for the exam from your second or third year of the college. As B.tech is of 4 years, if you devote even 3-4 hours daily, you will have enough time to revise and prepare for the examination properly. You can design your timetable that do not affect you B.tech studies also. However, you also have the option for dropping a year after your graduation for preparing for the SSC CGl exam. However, it would be better if you prepare it along with your graduation course only as you will have ample time to prepare for it and can divide and schedule the time accordingly.
