Currently I'm in the Last year of Bsc and exams of 5th sem are going to be end in a week.So now I'm confused should I take a 1 year drop for IIT JAM MATHS Exam but there is some fear in one side of my heart OR Should I start preparing for Net exam from now and take admission in any local college.
Hello there,
Now this totally depends upon you. You can take risk or settle and can greater perspectives. Now coming back to the preparation, coaching is not really required for understanding the concepts, but it will be beneficial to inculcate regularity. Regularity is a must! You should read books by foreign authors for concept building. Watch video lectures aswell. You must solve tonnes of questions. Practice time bound tests.
Thank you.
I would advise you to take a Full Drop, prepare well for JAM Maths and aim getting admitted into M.Sc./Integrated PhD at Top IITs. You may even utilise this year by doing part time internships, projects with Mathematics professors, learn relevant skills like Data Analytics, Microsoft Office, Python or work on your Fitness and Hobbies besides strictly following a routine preparation for JAM Maths.
