Currently in 10th, interested in ethical hacking but does not know any IT languages. Want to pursue career in ethical hacking and go abroad further... So, ur opinion abt what to do and which college to go ? Should I go abroad after 12th itself or when is the right time going out of In ?
Hello,
It is important you should have compture knowledge before enter into an undergraduate course. Therefore, you have to choose science stream with maths and computer science as a subject in 11th and 12th class. So that you will get the basic foundation in computer science. It is important have to go the bachalor degree if your planning to go for abroad, Such as Btech, Bsc, BE, BCA related to IT or any computer related field. students who have advanced diploma in network security or relevant technology can also choose ethical hacking as a professional career. A certification from a reputed institute enhances the chances of getting hired by some big names in the IT sector. college such as university of madras, SRM university, international institute of information technology,NIELT, institute of information security and so on. and for the abroad university you have clear either TOFEL or IELTS( depends upon the score need for each university you will get the admission) and in some country they ask for GRE score.
Hello manushi,
To become ethical hacker you need to learn different languages like ( c,c++ etc) and you need to develop your skills in coding.
You have to learn linux and it's testing operations, it's better if you start learning and building projects.also participate in hackathons so that you can build your portfolio for international Universities.
If you can afford going abroad after 12th, it will be a plus point as doing course/degree from international Universities not only give you exposure to international tech industry, but you can start your journey as soon as possible.
On internet you can learn alot of things in free, and after learning basics, you can enroll in coding Ninja or other platforms for advance courses.
I hope it helps,
Best of luck.
