Cut of rank of obc caste for Chandigarh University?

For getting admission to Chandigarh University, Chandigarh one need to clear up JEE and the college takes into consideration marks scored in +2 as well. The weightage of JEE and +2 is 60 and 40 percent respectively.

Now, coming to the question , there is no OBC cutoff specified in previous years cutoff lists.

Looking at the list it is clear that the OBC candidates are alloted seats from the General category. Furthermore there are provisions for candidates from Defence parents, Kashmiris etc. It would be good if you check with the college authorities and get a prospectus or something similar to get more clear view...

Now I am going to tell about the Chandigarh University...

Chandigarh University , I know thats a good name and many students are fascinated by this. They think that they will go to this university and will live in chandigarh, But my dear friends You are wrong, chandigarh university or CU is not located in chandigarh, its in punjab in a village surrounded by fields and there is nothing like chandigarh, it is 35 kms away from chandigarh and it takes atleast 1 hour to reach chandigarh if you ever wanna go.

And if you are looking for a better future than you can see their placements which are like a needle in a desert. What you will find here is just Computer Science students.

There are 3000 CSE students and you have to compete among 3000 students to get the Placement.it doesn’t matter if 100 students out of 3000 get placed. At least, in government colleges 40 students are placed out of 60 . And their rules are even worst than school, they will make you attend classes from 9:30 AM to 4:20 PM continuously, which is very irritating and you even cannot bunk classes because of 75% attendance rule. So, if you are thinking of sitting in park or benches or corridors and chilling out with friends then this university is not for you. It will keep you like a prisoner in classes till 4:20. I have been here for 4 months and still hadn't seen the full university. This university is all about completing assignments and submitting them on time and the teachers here are also not experienced and they just don't know how to teach and will make your life hell.

And if you are looking for a better future than you can see their placements which are like a needle in a desert. What you will find here is just Computer Science students.

It is worse then school and the students have no freedom and if you want to go in any workshop then they will still mark you absent, I don't know what is the benefit of taking Duty leave when they have no value. And ya, I have proof that this university is not worth taking admission, It is that the I didn't see any chandigarh resident students coming to the university, all students are from different states just like you are. So, if u take admission here then forget about chandigarh. And now about Hostel, The food here is not good, and I fell ill many due to bad quality of food.

Overall, I want to convince you that Please don't take admission in this university, If you have to make your future bright and live a

happy college life. I, myself is repenting my decision of taking admission in this university and I am going to migrate in some other government college better than this.
