After CAT exam every IIM makes a merit list based on your aggregate score which comprises of many factors such as CAT marks, 10th 12th and graduation percentage, work experience, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different colleges. Generally CAT marks have the highest weightage ranging from 30-60% but rest you need to earn with a decent academic records and a handsome profile.
Aim for a little high percentile like 98+ which will also give you an opportunity to get calls from old IIMs. As very less time is left for CAT exam so you need to brush up on your basics and give up lots of online mock test and analyse their solutions which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.
