Cut offs depend on difficulty of paper.this year paper was slightly tough compared to last year.can we expect a cut off less than last year

it is true that cutoff depends on the difficulty of the paper but it also depends on the numbers of students and attemption of the question.
maybe this year cutoff will be less compared to the previous year due to the toughness.
