Dear Counsellor, I have recently made an EWS Certificate Online, digitally signed by Tehsildar. I had given necessary documents of both me and my father. All other details in EWS certificate are correct but the photograph on certificate is of my father instead of me. Will this cause problem?

Hello Sanket,
If there is a different photo other than yourself in your EWS certificate, there is high chance that will create problem in future. So it is always better to get it corrected. Although there is no guidelines issued or application form for corrections in EWS certificate, you can however submit the following documents to EWS issuing authority for corrections.
- Request letter from the person whose details has to be corrected
- Affidavit mentioning the corrected details
- Supporting Documents
