Army Institute of Technology is one of the most pretigious institute of engineering in india. Each year it produces fine engineer. Each year it has 3000 aplications from the wards of military personels but only 300 are selected on the basis of their JEE MAINS Score.

Academic qualifications required-
Wards of personnel who are serving/have served only DSC/Assam Rifles /BSF/Indian Navy/Indian Air force/GREF/Defence Civilians etc are not eligible for admission to AIT.

Last date of applying is 15th march, 2019
25th april, 2019- last date of submissin of form
5th may, 2019- last date of submitting the form after payingthe late fees(1000/- rupees)
Fees of application- 1000/- inclusive of the processing fees and everything

Though Army Institute of Technology may consider applicants who are not wards of Army personnel after considering wards of Army personnel but chances of that are slim considering the number of applications they receive each year.
Since it is strictly for Indian Army wards - Serving or retired, it also excludes wards of Navy and Airforce.
