Hello,

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria requires candidates to hold a Bachelors Degree. Candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category must have at least 55% aggregate in Bachelors. The marks secured include all the subjects studied at the graduation level, without rounding off the marks.

JAM Eligibility Criteria 2020 - Common Eligibility

In the qualifying degree, the candidates who belong to General/OBC categories must have at least 55 per cent or 5.5 out of 10 aggregate in languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined.

The candidates who belong to SC/ST and PWD categories must have scored at least 50 per cent or 5.0 out of 10 aggregate in their qualifying degree.
