Dear sir, I am student of bsc can i face problems in preparation of cat? And please tell how much time required to prepare cat, xat etc?
Each Question has 3 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark. However Type in the Answer questions are exempted from Negative Marking.
First things first, know the syllabus. And go through the previous papers to analyse and prepare a comprehensive plan and set priorities according to the importance of different topics across sections.
Customise your own study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses. Gauge your preparation from time to time by taking mock tests. Solve questions to check your levels of preparation but not to set any targets. Remember, its ok to have cheat days and relax. But make sure you have a plan and stick to it for the next few months. Study as much as for 6 hours a day and 5 days a week. Let the 6th day be a mock test day and 7th day be a resting day.
As you are from the science background doing B.Sc.
You will not get much problems in cat preparation.
As you are the science student i hope you are good in mathematics and logical skills.
In cat there are 3 sections language , quants and logic + Data
You will not get much problems in 2 sections that is quants and logic data
You might face some difficulties in language
And it can be minimized by reading daily newspaper from now
I strongly recommend you to go for The Hindu Editorial daily with fail.
Best wishes
