The names of the college's which you have displayed in your query are one among the well top reputed private institutions of engineering in India. Since as you said you are keeping these institutions as a backup then I will suggest you to keep the order will be like SASTRA < Nirma < SSN < Thapar in terms of all the parameters including the placements, ranking given by the MHRD and the culture of the studies as well the research work too .
