Hello Dear Student,

If you have done 11th & 12th From Delhi, then you are eligible for Delhi State Quota. As per policy of Delhi Government.

If you belong to U.P than you can obtain domicile of Uttar Pradesh too.

But You Can Claim only one Domicile, Claiming Two Domicile at the Same time is illegal.

You cannot have more than one Domicile certificate at a time. It can be made only in one state and obtaining more than one Domicile certificate is an offence.

You have to surrender one domicile certificate, to claim another.

You can apply for Domicile certificate in Delhi: via edistrict.delhigovt.nic

For Uttar Pradesh Domicile certificate please visit on: edistrict.up.gov.in/edistrictup

You can also apply from the Tehsil of Your District for the Domicile certificate. it is called "Niwas Praman Patra " in Hindi.

I Hope you got your Answer.

sukhendrakr I know that, In Delhi you don't need a separate Domicile certificate for counselling because you have institutional quota (because of passing the 10th & 12th Class Board From Delhi School's). Though you might be eligible for the Seats of the two states (Delhi and U.P) because in Delhi you don't need to submit a domicile certificate (Delhi is a exception) In this scenario you may allowed to claim Quota of both the states (Delhi & U.P).
But this is risky, In this regard I will advise you to take legal consultation from any Lawyer or drop a Mail to MCC or MCI or Respective Counselling authorities of state governments.
