The age requirement for 2024 NDA 1 is that applicants must have been born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008. Candidates must be between the ages of January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2008, according to the NDA 2 age limit. The date of birth provided on Class 10 or 12 certificates will be accepted by the commission.

So you are eligible for NDA 1 exam but will be eligible for NDA 2 from 2025.

Key qualifications for eligibility in the NDA exam are as follows:

1. Age Limit: Age will be between 16.5 to 19.5 years. For your DOB of 15 January 2008, you will qualify to sit for the NDA exam as follows:

• NDA I 2025: You will not make the age cut.
• NDA II 2025: You will probably still be under-aged.
• NDA I 2026 (It will be held in April 2026): Apply when you would be 18 years old before January 2026.

2. Educational Qualification:

• You must have an appearance or completed Class 12.
• For the Army, any stream in the Class 12 is also acceptable.
• For the Air Force and Navy, Physics, and Mathematics in Class 12 are a must

3. Application Dates:

• NDA I: Apply from December 2025 to January 2026 for the exams in April 2026.
