First of all the eligibility criteria of GATE is:
- No age limit.
- There is no minimum pass percentage in qualifying degree(B.tech/B.E/M.sc)
- Must have completed Bachelor degree i.e BE/Btech/Msc or may be in final year .
- Indian national candidates are eligible .
- Candidate of srilanka,nepal,bangladesh,singapore,ethopia,UAE are also eligible.

Hello You have not mentioned the specification of the degree you have completed assuming that you have done your B.Tech of four years or B.Tech with diploma which is three years after 10+2. Persons with this qualifications can apply for gate.Final year students can also aplly for GATE.
