derivation for zero order reaction
Hello!!!
Hope you are doing great!!!!
Zero Order reaction is that in which rate of the reaction does not depend upon the concentration of reactant.
Rate = K [A]^n
here n=0
Rate = K [A]^0
_d[A]/dt =K
-d[A] = Kdt
d[A] = -Kdt
Integrating on both sides
A ...............t
∫ d[A] = - ∫ Kdt
Ao.............0
[A]-[Ao]=-Kt
[A]=[Ao]-Kt
[At]=-Kt+[Ao]
Half life....
[A]=[Ao]/2 and t=t/2
[Ao]/2 = [Ao] -K t/2
1/2 [Ao] = K t/2
[Ao]/2K = t/2
Hope it helps!!!!
