derive an expression for the electric field at a point on the axial position of an electric dipole
Hello candidate,
Because of limited answering modes available on the platform, is not possible for me to provide detailed derivation on the axial electric field.
But on the axial position considering the angle of elevation to be theta, the sin theta component of the dipoles gets cancelled and the cos theta component gets added up in the same direction as the horizontal.
Hope This answer was helpful!!
